Privacy
Short version: no account, no tracking, no analytics in the app. Only one thing ever leaves your Mac: the licence activation (and its occasional check).
What stays on your Mac
- Your desktops, their names, symbols and colours, your rules and your shortcuts.
- Which window is on which desktop and where it sits, saved in ~/Library/Application Support/atrium/state.json so windows can always be put back.
- Window titles and thumbnails shown in the overview. They are read when you open it, shown, and never saved or sent.
What leaves your Mac
| When | What is sent | To |
|---|---|---|
| You activate your licence, and now and then afterwards to check it | Your licence key and a one-way hash of this Mac's hardware ID, so the key counts one Mac once (the ID itself is never sent) | tealmac's licence server, which asks our payment provider whether the key is valid |
That is the full list. atrium has no analytics, no crash reporter that phones home, no advertising and no account.
Permissions
- Accessibility (required) lets atrium see and move other apps' windows. It doesn't read what's inside them and never records what you type.
- Screen Recording (optional) is used only to draw live thumbnails in the overview. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent.
Buying
Checkout is run by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, the merchant of record. They handle your payment details and email address under their own privacy policy; we receive your order (email, country, amount) so we can send your licence and help you. We never see your card number.
This website
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without following you across sites. When you click a Buy button we count the click (the app name and the page, nothing about you). The thank-you page reads your licence key from its address in your browser and removes it from the address bar; it is sent only to our licence server to make your download link, and our server doesn't log it.
