Terms

These terms cover thockmac for macOS and this website, made by tealmac. They're short on purpose.

Free and Pro

thockmac is free to use with 3 switch sounds and the core features. Pro unlocks everything else: all switches, mouse and scroll sounds, the sound designer and recorder, rules, on-screen effects, stats export and the live map.

The 3-day free trial

• Start it from inside the app. No card or account is needed.
• One trial per Mac. It runs for 3 days from the moment you start it and can't be restarted or extended.
• The trial gives your Mac a signed access token. When the 3 days are up, the token expires and the app signs out of it by itself, online or offline. You go back to Free; your settings, stats and recordings stay.
• To keep Pro, buy a licence at any time, during or after the trial.

Price and the launch offer

The first 50 paid orders cost $3.99. Every order after that costs $6.99. The seat counter on this site counts real, completed orders. Prices are in USD; taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.

Your licence

• One payment, no subscription. Your licence key works on up to 2 Macs that you use.
• It includes free updates for version 1.x.
• Please don't share or resell your key. A refunded key stops working.
• The app checks your licence or trial with our server a few times a day. If it can't reach us, a paid licence keeps working for up to 30 days.

Refunds

Within 7 days of purchase, for verified issues with the app on your Mac that we can't fix. See the refund policy.

Sounds

thockmac's own switch sounds are original. Some recorded packs come from open-source projects under the MIT licence; their notices ship inside the app. Sounds you record or design are yours.

The usual

thockmac is provided as is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will never have a bug, and we're not liable for indirect losses. Questions: productapp.264@gmail.com.
