Custom apps by tealmac
Your app, built with the same care as ours.
We design and build native Mac, iPhone and iPad apps, the websites that sell them and the backends that run them. Tell us the idea; a person replies within 24 hours.
What we build
From a single menu bar utility to an app with its own website, payments and server.
Mac apps
Native Swift and SwiftUI: menu bar apps, utilities and pro tools that feel at home on macOS.
iPhone and iPad apps
SwiftUI apps that share code with the Mac version, with widgets and offline use where it helps.
Websites and web apps
Fast product sites, landing pages and dashboards, built with Next.js and served from Cloudflare.
Backends and APIs
Licences, trials, payments, email and sync on Cloudflare Workers: small, fast and cheap to run.
Payments and licensing
One-time purchases, launch pricing, free trials and licence keys, wired to your payment provider.
Launch and growth
Install guides, launch videos, search-ready pages and structured data, so people can find what you built.
What we’ve shipped
Our own apps, end to end: the native app, its website, the trial and licence server, payments and the launch videos.
thockmac A menu-bar app that plays mechanical-keyboard sounds as you type. 49 switches, mouse and scroll sounds, and a sound designer.macslay+ A careful folder organizer. It shows the full plan, you untick what should stay, one confirmation, and every run can be undone.

How it works
Step 1: Tell us about it
Five minutes on the form below: what you want to build, for whom, and roughly when.
Step 2: We reply within 24 hours
A person reads every request and answers with questions or a first take, by email.
Step 3: A short call and a written plan
Scope, milestones, timeline and price in writing before any work starts.
Step 4: Build in small, testable steps
You get a build to try at every milestone, not a surprise at the end.
Step 5: Launch, then look after it
We help you ship to your users and stay around for fixes and the next version.

Questions
What kind of apps do you build?
Native apps for Mac, iPhone and iPad (Swift and SwiftUI), the websites that sell them, and the small backends they need: licences, trials, payments, email and sync. If it runs on Apple platforms or the web, ask.
How much does a custom app cost?
It depends on scope. After a short call we send a written plan with a price before any work starts. The budget range in the form only helps us suggest what fits; it isn’t a commitment.
How long does it take?
Small utilities and websites take weeks; larger apps take a few months. The written plan has milestones with dates, and you get a working build at each one.
Can you work on an app we already have?
Yes: new features, a SwiftUI rewrite of an old screen, performance and crash fixes, or getting a stalled project shipped. Choose “Work on an existing app” in the form.
Will my idea stay private?
Yes. We use what you send only to reply to you, and we’re happy to sign an NDA before you share details.
What have you built?
tealmac’s own apps: thockmac (mechanical keyboard sounds for Mac) and macslay+ (a folder tidier where every move can be undone), plus their websites, licence and trial servers, and payment integration.
Where are you based?
We work remotely with clients anywhere, by email and video call.
